As you may know, eBay’s new Listing Policy Update (read about it here) will come into effect in just a couple of days, as September is right around the corner.
Once the new policy is live, contact information such as phone numbers, contact details, email addresses and social media profiles won’t be allowed to be displayed on shopfronts and in the item descriptions of your listings. The only place where eBay will allow contact details will be in the “Business Seller Information” field.
Removing your contact details from your listings is very important, as eBay could end your listings if they still contain phone numbers or any other contact details by September 2017.
If you’re currently using a custom listing design that contains contact details, we can help you remove them, for a small fee.
Also, if you have contact details in the description of your listings, but you have thousands of products, editing the descriptions and removing these contact details could take a very long time. We could develop a custom algorithm that would remove all phone numbers and addresses from the descriptions of your products, thus saving you a lot of time!
We are experienced in working with eBay, and our team of developers is very knowledgeable, so you know that you’re in good hands!
